The South bank Institute of TAFE, Queensland, Australia and the Institute of Hotel Management, Bangalore have signed a MoU, on Tuesday, 14th September 2004 at the ITC Windsor Sheraton & Towers, Bangalore.

The institute of hotel management, Bangalore has been nominated as the representative, and the director of the institute Mr. M V Balachandar as the nodal officer, for mutual exchange in terms of faculty and students as well as research and training.

We are in the process of exploring collaborations, articulation agreements, faculty exchange, student exchange and networking globally.

As a part of mutual exchange Ms. Vasundara Dharmaraaj, HOD (F&BS) and Chef. Krishnendu Mukherjee, Senior Faculty (Food Production) had gone to Queensland, Australia during October-November 2005.
